"Read, Renew, Repeat"
The HFHS Library hosts an annual summer reading program for students and staff in cooperation with the Illinois Library Association's iRead Summer Reading Program. The theme for iREAD’s 2024 summer reading is Read, Renew, Repeat. As stated on the iRead website:
"...our summer reading program will feature the idea of conservation. Conservation as a movement focuses on protecting species from extinction, maintaining and restoring habitats, enhancing ecosystem services, and protecting biological diversity. iREAD 2024: Read, Renew, Repeat makes for a wonderfully diversified summer reading program that encourages reading as a restorative method of self-improvement and self-preservation."
Below you will find a number of different resources that connect with this summer's theme. The HFHS Library will also be hosting a Summer Reading Prize Drawing for those who have read at least one book over the summer! Just fill out and submit the Google form below!
